As the term of Mr Dipac Canacsinh‘s post as President comes to an end, the Management Committee will be holding an election for the next President of Diu Vanza Darji Samaj UK on the 22nd of March, 2026.

Role Purpose:
The President provides overall leadership to the Diu Vanza Darji Samaj UK, helping unite members through cultural, social and charitable activities. The role promotes positive values, cultural identity and ensures the responsible and smooth functioning of the association.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the association and committee
- Chair meetings and support good governance aligned with the constitution
- Support planning of community events and festivals that are inclusive and well organised
- Represent the association with external organisations and build community relationships
- Encourage participation, volunteering and open communication
- Oversee good practice in finances, policies and ethics (not day-to-day operations)
- Commitment to community service and Hindu values
- Collaborative leadership and good communication skills
- Fair, organised and respectful of cultural diversity
